NSS Orientation Programme was organized at Mukand Lal National College

NSS Orientation Programme was organized at Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar. The programme commenced with the inauguration of the programme by Dr. Rahul Singh, NSS Programme Officer and made the students aware of the motto and activities of the scheme. Dr. Ankur, NSS Programme Officer, introduced the Chief Guest Dr. Anand Kumar, NSS Programme Coordinator, Kurukshetra University.

In his address, Dr. Anand Kumar motivated the students to set big goals, bring about a change in the society and actively participate in blood donation camps, tree plantation and awareness campaigns. He appreciated the volunteers for their responsibilities and gave them the message to imbibe the motto of NSS in their lives.

Dr. Anil Dhawan, Principal of the college appreciated the work of NSS officers and volunteers and encouraged the students for active participation in social work. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Umang, NSS Programme Officer.

NSS representatives were present in the programme. Volunteers Shivam and Palak handled photography, Shreya managed the stage, Palak and Amanpreet Kaur managed registration and attendance, while Karan, Priyanka, Chetna, Priyanshi, Vanshika, Yashika and Tanu handled decorations. Cultural presentations by Abhishek, Vishal and Nitin made the event even more lively.
