Nutrition Month Celebration on 7 September 2021

Nutrition Month celebrated at Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar

On 7 September 2021 Nutrition Month 2021 was celebrated by NSS Unit of local Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Under this, NSS volunteers and officers planted saplings in the college premises and surrounding areas on September 04, 2021. During this program, a slogan writing competition was organized on September 06, 2021 to bring awareness about nutritious diet for the health of pregnant women. The students enthusiastically participated in both the activities.

The acting principal of the college, Dr. Rahul Khanna, made the students aware of the importance of trees for plantation and motivated them to participate in more such activities. NSS Program Officer Prof. Manjit Rani, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Prof. Ajay Kumar and Dr. Poonam were present in this program.
