One-day First Aid and Disaster Management Training Program
Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar’s Youth Red Cross Cell, Disaster Management Unit and Red Ribbon Club organized a one-day First Aid and Disaster Management Training Program on 3rd April, 2025 under the chairmanship of Dr. Rupendra Kumar and Dr. Umang Bareja. Its objective was to provide the participants with the necessary life saving skills and knowledge to respond effectively in emergency situations. District Training Officer Shashi Bhushan, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Jasbir Singh and Project Manager, Sunita Sharma from Red Cross Society, Yamuna Nagar were present to impart training in this program. District Training Officer, Shashi Bhushan ji discussed various aspects of disaster management including first aid, rescue techniques and emergency response protocols. About 100 students and non-academic members of the college participated in this training program. The participants also received training on topics like first aid, fire extinguishing and disaster response. On this occasion, the acting principal of the college, Dr Anil Dhawan said that such activities enable students to stay safe and create awareness in the society and can save a person’s life in emergency situations. On this occasion, members of Red Cross and Disaster Management Cell, Dr Amandeep Batra, Assistant Professor Ajay Kumar, Dr Rameshwar, Assistant Professor Abhilav and other teachers were also present.
