One Day NSS Camp on “Swachhata Hi Seva” Successfully Concluded at Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar

Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar, in its spirited endeavour towards cleanliness and community service, organised a one day NSS Camp on the theme “Swachhata Hi Seva”. The event comprised of varied and interesting activities like poster making, slogan writing competitions, impressive speeches on cleanliness, an energetic rally and a massive sanitisation drive.

The event was attended by eminent speakers who highlighted various aspects of cleanliness and sustainable development.

Dr. Deepmala emphasised on innovative approaches to waste management as a means of employment generation. Dr. Manohar Goyal emphasised on the balance between theoretical insights and practical measures in achieving cleanliness. Dr. Dalbir Singh underlined the constitutional responsibilities that contribute to community progress while focusing on sustainable development.

Appreciating the dedication and hard work of the NSS team, Dr Anil Dhawan, Acting Principal of the college congratulated the NSS Programme Officers Dr Vakil Singh, Dr Pooja Rani and Dr Rahul Singh for their outstanding efforts. In his address, Dr Dhawan appointed the NSS volunteers as brand ambassadors of cleanliness to inspire their peers and the wider community towards a clean environment. The successful rally and sanitisation drive left a deep impact and reaffirmed the college’s commitment to sustainable practices and active community service.
