Online essay writing competition by Legal Literacy Cell

As per the instructions of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Yamunanagar, Legal Literacy Cell of local Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar organized an online essay writing competition on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. Two topics were given to the students for essay writing - "Contribution of teachers in building the future generation" and "Contribution of teachers in creating moral values ??among students". The purpose of this competition was to make the students aware of Teachers’ Day. 5 September is the birth anniversary of former President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, which is celebrated as Teachers’ Day all over India. Teachers are the beacon of light in our lives, who pave the way for our life by providing us knowledge. Teachers have a great contribution in our success. Dr. Manisha and Dr. Simardeep played the role of jury. The result of this competition was as follows- Madhav Kathuria, B.Com. 1st year got first place, Sanskriti Yadav, B.Com. 1st year got second place, Mridul fourth, B.Com. 1st year got third place. Apart from this, Kanan Salgotra, B.Com. 1st year was given consolation prize. Students were honored with certificates. Executive Principal of the college Dr. Anil Dhawan congratulated the coordinator of this program Dr. Sunita Sikri and co-coordinator Dr. Vakil Singh and Assistant Professor Neha Rani for successful organization of the competition and encouraged them to keep organizing such activities in future as well.
