Painting and henna competition was organized by Women Study Cell

Painting and henna competition was organized under the Indian Language Day as per the instructions of the Ministry of Education by Dr. Amandeep Batra and Dr. Ankur, in-charge of Women Study Cell of Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar. The theme of the painting competition was “My Language, My Identity”.
In the painting competition, Ashish, B.Com, second year, stood first, Shamita, B.Sc, stood second and Rashika, BA, first year stood third. In the henna competition, Parul, B.Com, third year stood first, Kanika, B.Com, first year stood second and Poonam, B.Sc. second year, stood third.
Dr. Savita Garg, Dr. Poonam and Dr. Nitya Kaushik played the role of jury in the painting competition. Dr. Mamta Oberoi, Prof. Manjeet Rani, Dr. Sunita Sikri played the role of jury in the henna competition.
Executive Principal of the college, Dr. Ritu Kumar congratulated the Women Study Cell on the successful organization of these competitions and inspired them to organize such competitions. He said that such competitions are very important for the overall development of the students.
