Quiz and Poster Making Competition on the theme Viksit Bharat 2047

Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar, organized a joint ’Quiz and Poster Making Competition’ on the theme "Viksit Bharat @ 2047" (Developed India @ 2047) under the aegis of the college’s ’Atmanirbhar Bharat Cell’ and ’Women’s Studies Cell’. The event aimed to foster awareness and encourage creative expression among students regarding the resolve for a developed India, nation-building, innovation, self-reliance, and the country’s developmental journey.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Deepmala and Dr. Amandeep Batra, who successfully managed the overall planning and arrangements. Ahana Sharma skillfully anchored the proceedings.
Seven teams from various faculties of the college participated enthusiastically in the quiz competition. During the event, students answered questions related to Viksit Bharat @ 2047, the Indian economy, science and technology, innovation, culture, education, and nation-building with great enthusiasm and confidence.
Meanwhile, in the poster-making competition, students from various classes showcased their creative talent by presenting their vision of a developed India through attractive and impactful posters. Through their artwork, students expressed various themes such as Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-reliant India), women’s empowerment, Digital India, green development, innovation, and youth power.
Addressing the students, the college’s Acting Principal, Dr. Shri Prakash, stated, "Viksit Bharat @ 2047 is not merely a goal but a national campaign that will be realized through the participation and resolve of every citizen. India’s youth can play a pivotal role in building a developed India through their knowledge, skills, innovation, and creativity." He encouraged the students to utilize their knowledge and talent for the national interest.
The successful organization of the event was made possible through the commendable cooperation of the college’s faculty and students. Other faculty members present at the event included Shri Praveen Khurana, Dr. Rachna Agarwal, Dr. Vakil Singh, and Dr. Umang Bareja.
