The fourth day of the NSS camp
The fourth day of the camp started with Yoga and Lakshya song. The fourth day was dedicated to the topic ’Voter Awareness’. Under this, all the volunteers took out a rally in the entire village and made the village people aware about voting day and exercising their franchise. During this rally, volunteers raised slogans like ’My vote is my right’ and ’I am a voter of India, I know how to vote’ and made the villagers aware about voting.
The speaker of the afternoon session was Dr. Rinku, Assistant Professor from Government College, Radaur. He made the volunteers aware on the topic of ’Voter Awareness’. After this, during the evening session, Dr. Ramesh Dhariwal, Associate Professor, Government College, Chhachhrauli, highlighted the importance of social goodwill. Talking about Holi festival, he said that Holi is a festival which strengthens social unity and relationships. On the fifth day, all the volunteers celebrated Holi festival with great joy and enthusiasm and set an ideal example before the villagers. During this program N.S.S. Program Officer Dr. Poonam, Dr. Vakil Singh, Dr. Pooja Rani and Dr. Rahul Singh were present.
