The lecture was organized on Rehabilitation of oppressed women

The lecture was organized by Dr. Amandeep Batra and Dr. Ankur, in-charge of Women Study Cell of Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar. The speaker of this lecture was Dr. Sarita Bhandari, retired, Head of the Department of Botany. The theme of this lecture was “Rehabilitation of oppressed women”. In his lecture he discussed the rules made by the society for women and the dowry system. About 100 students participated in this lecture.
In the end, Dr. Amandeep Batra while addressing the students said that if the youth bring change in their thinking then they can make an important contribution in improving the society.
At the end of the program, Executive Principal of the college, Dr. Pawan Gaba, congratulated the Women Study Cell for successfully organizing the lecture. Assistant Prof. Parveen Khurana, Dr. Sumita Kanwar, Dr. Deepmala, Dr. Rameshwar, Rakesh Kumar Sharma and Shaili Kamboj were also present in this program.
