NCC cadets did terrace gardening on the occasion of Van Mahotsav 

NCC Girls Cadets of Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar planted saplings in the college premises under Van Mahotsav. Acting Principal Dr. Rahul Khanna inspired the NCC Girls Cadets to plant saplings on the terrace by adopting the concept of terrace gardening in the college campus. He said that each of the cadets should plant a sapling and also take the responsibility of its conservation and promotion. All the girls planted a sapling each and took a pledge to protect it. NCC officer Captain Mamta Oberoi said that at this time the whole world is affected by environmental crisis and is facing acute shortage of oxygen, so at such times it becomes the responsibility of every citizen to plant a sapling and take care of it.
Understanding the importance of Amrit Mahotsav along with Van Mahotsav, NCC Girls Cadets cleaned the statue of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and offered flowers. The acting principal of the college, Dr. Rahul Khanna, congratulated the NCC officer Captain Mamta Oberoi and all the girls cadets for appreciating their efforts and encouraged them to organize such activities in future also.
