UGC-Sponsored NEP Orientation & Sensitization Programme in Yamuna Nagar

UGC-Sponsored 08-Day Online NEP Orientation & Sensitization Programme is being organised by the UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, in collaboration with Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar.

The programme commenced on 21 September 2026 with the objective of sensitising faculty members to the key provisions and implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The programme is being conducted under the guidance of Dr. Neeti Daryal, Head, Self-Finance Courses and Convener of the Programme.

Four days of the programme have been successfully completed, comprising eight interactive online sessions. Eminent resource persons, including Prof. Narender Kumar Tomar, Prof. Saneem Fatima, Prof. Dinesh Chahal, Prof. Dinesh Kumar, Prof. Anupama Sangwan and Prof. Vanita Dhingra, have shared valuable insights on various dimensions of NEP 2020.

About 54 faculty members from different Institutions participated actively and enthusiastically in this program. College Principal Dr. Manohar Goyal commended and congratulated the program coordinator, Dr. Neeti Daryal, for her efforts, noting that such programs play a vital role in promoting faculty continuous professional development, academic enrichment, and the effective implementation of the National Education Policy 2020. The remaining sessions of the program will be held in the coming days.
