Workshop on Design Thinking for Entrepreneurship and Employability organized

The Department of Self-Finance Courses at Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar, in collaboration with I-Hub, IIT Roorkee, organized a student workshop on "Design Thinking for Entrepreneurship and Employability" on September 22, 2026. Around 170 students of first and second year of BBA, BCom, BCA and BSc participated enthusiastically in the workshop.
The workshop’s keynote speaker, Ms. Indu Agarwal, founder of TalentGrow Global, is a social entrepreneur, growth strategist, and education expert. She is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore-Goldman Sachs program and a National Council of Educational Research and Training-Parakh Certified Master Trainer. She has trained over 50,000 individuals in employability skills and has been honored for her work by numerous dignitaries, including state governors, chief ministers, and health and employment ministers.
During the workshop, students were introduced to innovation and idea generation, creative problem-solving, and a startup mindset through hands-on activities. These activities aimed to develop essential career skills and inspire students towards entrepreneurship and innovation.
This initiative was organized by the Innovation Incubation Center with the aim of promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and employability skills among students. The workshop was led by Dr. Neeti Daryal, Head of the Department of Self-Finance Courses.
Dr. Manohar Goyal, Executive Principal of the college, appreciated the organization of such entrepreneurship-focused workshops and encouraged the professors to organize such useful and practical programs for the students in future also.
